PURE Expands Its Homeowners Insurance Into Four States

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange, which underwrites high-end homes, has added four states to its roster in the past 30 days: Louisiana, Wisconsin, Wyoming
and Arkansas, said Ross Buchmueller, president and chief executive officer.
"We are now licensed in 39 states, and active in 30 states," Buchmueller said. "We're getting closer to what we want, which is a national company that has the benefit of national diversification."
In January, PURE was licensed in just 32 states, and actively writing business in 15 (Best's News Service, Jan. 17, 2011).
PURE serves more than 13,000 affluent individuals and families by offering high-value homeowners, private fleet auto, fine art and jewelry collection, personal excess liability and watercraft insurance.
