White Plains, N.Y. — October 17, 2017 — Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), the policyholder-owned property and casualty insurer designed for high net worth individuals and families, has been named one of the 2017 Best Small & Medium Workplaces by Fortune and Great Place to Work ®.
“We are delighted to be recognized by Fortune and Great Place to Work, particularly among other companies of this size,” said Colin Haupt, Vice President of Human Resources for PURE Insurance. “As we continue to grow and expand throughout the U.S., it is incredibly important to us that our member-obsessed culture, for both our customers and employees, remains.”
The list of best small and medium workplaces was based on over 74,000 surveys from employees across hundreds of businesses in all sectors of the economy. The surveys assessed the camaraderie, leadership, fairness, rewards and career opportunities among colleagues in their given work environments. Despite their organizations growing in size and complexity, employees at the selected companies were more likely to maintain a healthy organizational culture and reported positive work experiences related to innovation and good customer service.
"The Best Small & Medium workplaces are laying the groundwork for future success by building trust, cooperation and leadership credibility. All of these create a positive environment for doing business while also enhancing individual and company performance,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work.
Organizations with 10 to 99 employees were considered for the small workplaces list, while those with 100-999 employees were considered for the medium list. Surveys were reported with a 95 percent confidence level from those who participated.
