Pam is a Fine Art Specialist based in New York with 15 years’ experience working with rare materials and fine art, including the treatment and conservation of works on paper, books, and mixed-media objects, as well as project management. As a Fine Art Specialist, she assists collectors with collection and risk management, utilizing her preservation expertise as it applies to the physical and financial protection of collection materials. She brings a unique background in cultural heritage preservation, having worked with professional conservators in both Germany and New York, including positions at Conrest: Paper Conservation, Alvarez Conservation Services, and as an intern at the Brooklyn Museum.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, she completed an MS in Library & Information Science focusing on special collection management and preservation, preventive conservation, risk management, and disaster response/planning.
Pam holds a BFA in Visual Art from Mason Gross School of the Arts, an MSLIS in Cultural Heritage Informatics from Simmons University, and is an active member of the American Institute for Conservation.
