Since joining PURE Art Services in 2015, Renee has advised on the management, protection, and long-term stewardship of significant collections. She specializes in the Post-War and Contemporary art markets, providing guidance on valuations, acquisitions, and sales, conservation, inventory management, and shipping for collections across all media. Her approach offers thoughtful, tailored solutions that help collectors navigate every stage of ownership, from building collections to preparing them for their next chapter.
As VP, Head of Art Services, Renee co-leads PURE's Art Services practice, guiding the firm's approach to collection management, risk mitigation, and disaster response in support of collectors.
As a licensed fine art claims adjuster, Renee has consulted on damage and loss involving major museums, galleries, and private collectors, bringing specialized expertise in the care, valuation, and protection of fine art.
Prior to joining PURE Art Services, Renee was an Art Advisor at Patti Gilford Fine Arts, where she collaborated with real estate developers and interior architects to build private and institutional collections.
Renee serves on the Director's Acquisition Committee for the University of Michigan Museum of Art, helping support acquisitions for the museum's permanent collection. She holds an MA in Arts Administration & Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in the History of Art from the University of Michigan.
