Activate your Life360 Gold subscription in a few steps

If you’re the parent or guardian of a teen driver, use these instructions to activate your premium subscription.

Before we get started, make sure you have the PURE promo code that we emailed you handy. 

Only one code is provided per family—not per teen. As the parent or guardian, you must first redeem your complimentary two-year Gold subscription using your code, then invite your family to join. Your code is unique and should not be shared.

Step One

If you are already paying for Life360, you can cancel your current subscription. You will be able to resubscribe with your promo code from PURE once your current subscription expires.

If you already have a free Life360 subscription and would like to upgrade it, follow step two to activate your complimentary two-year Gold plan. 


Step Two: Redeem the Offer

After you requested your code through your PURE account, we sent you an email with a personalized link to activate your Life360 Gold subscription. Click the link in the email, or enter your promo code on Life360.com. You can only activate your Gold subscription on the Life360.com website, not in the Life360 app.

You will be prompted to log into your account or sign up for a new account. Log in by entering your phone or email. A one-time password will be sent to verify the account. 

Enter the following information to redeem your code: 

  • Enter your Date of Birth (not your teen's)
  • Agree to Terms of Service
  • Provide customer details
  • Provide billing address

No payment information is required. Tap to "Complete Order". 

✨ Hooray! You now are signed up for your complimentary two-year Gold subscription.


Step Three: Create Your Circle

Open or download the Life360 app on your smartphone. When you are asked to create a “Circle” (your private group with your friends and family), tap on Create a new Circle. Follow the prompts to personalize your profile and Circle.

  • Make sure to invite friends and family (your teen) to your Circle by sharing the code on the screen. Click Done Sharing to continue. Each invitee will follow the same steps to create an account.
  • To allow Life360 to use your location, select Allow While Using App. Then, select Change to Always Allow. 

Just a friendly reminder

When you sign up for Life360 by using PURE's code, the “Personal Information Sales” privacy setting defaults to "off", which means Life360 does not sell your personal information to third parties for commercial use or share it for targeted advertising. You can view this preference by visiting Settings in the Life360 app.
