Ting
Helping our members avoid claims and protect the things that matter most
Our loss prevention experts are constantly evaluating new technology and solutions to assist in this effort, while also helping to control costs and keep rates fair for the entire membership.
Our latest find: Ting, a sensor and monitoring service to help prevent electrical fires before they happen. And, because you are a PURE member, we are offering it to you at no cost.

How it works
Ting plugs into any wall outlet and continuously monitors your home’s electrical system, detecting damaged wires, loose connections or faulty appliances that can cause an electrical fire.
If a hazard is detected, you’ll receive a notification on your phone and a call from Ting’s Fire Safety Team with next steps. Ting includes a $1,000 repair credit if an electrician is required to fix the issue.
It's Quick and Simple
Installation takes two to three minutes. All you need is a smart phone, Wi-Fi and an available outlet.
It's Private and Non-Intrusive
Ting only monitors your electrical system. It doesn’t contain cameras, listening devices, microphones or motion detectors, and the app doesn't require access to other data on your phone.
There’s No Cost to You
Installing a Ting will not affect your premiums or coverage. It’s available to you free of charge as a way to help keep your family safe and prevent loss.
