Dea Malollari
Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary
Dea joined PURE in 2022. She is responsible for leading a team of dedicated actuaries and modelers crucial to PURE's ongoing operations and safe expansion. Her role involves implementing a structured and strategic approach to understanding, managing and mitigating enterprise risks. She also serves as the Chair for PURE's Risk Steering committee.
Prior to PURE, Dea held various leadership positions at Liberty Mutual and Allianz, overseeing US and international markets. Her academic foundation lies in Actuarial Science and Statistics, with a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a proud member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Originally from Albania, Dea lives near Boston with her husband and two boys. She has a passion for travel and diverse cultures.
