Martin is the Chief Executive Officer of PURE Insurance. He joined PURE in 2022 as Chief Underwriting Officer with executive oversight of underwriting and product before being named Chief Executive Officer in July of 2023. His career spans more than 20 years, largely in the reinsurance industry focused on treaty and facultative reinsurance. Prior to joining PURE, he was with General Re®, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., where he served in a variety of leadership roles in North America, Europe and Africa.
