PURE’s Financial Strength Rating Upgraded to A+ (Superior)

In 2006, PURE founders Ross Buchmueller, Jeff Paraschac and Martin Hartley set out to build an insurance company formed by successful individual and families. By pooling the risks of the most responsible owners of the finest homes, they believed that such a company would offer an extraordinary combination of service and savings.
Over the years, the PURE team has worked hard to build trust among its members and broker partners by prudently building their balance sheet, enhancing controls and managing risk. This was reflected in our initial A- (Excellent) rating from AM Best in 2008, then again, 10 years later, in the upgrade to A (Excellent) in 2018.
Most recently, on April 8, AM Best Company announced its decision to upgrade the Financial Strength Rating of PURE from A (Excellent) to A+ (Superior).
